Dante Alighieri immagina l’inferno suddiviso in nove gironi. Le anime che in vita hanno peccato vengono punite e mandate in uno dei cerchi. Guardata da questa prospettiva la rampa per le automobili del Lingotto può, con una certa dose di fantasia, ricordare il viaggio nell’oltretomba di Dante.

Dante Alighieri imagined hell was divided into nine circles. The souls that have sinned in life are punished and sent into one of the circles.
