Roosevelt Island

Nell’East River della Grande Mela, c’è un’isola molto stretta, lunga circa 3 chilometri e larga 250 metri. Nel 1973 fu chiamata Roosevelt Island in memoria del Presidente. Qui però non siamo davanti ad un imbarco del traghetto di “The little apple” come viene chiamata l'isola, ma sulle rive del Po.

Roosevelt Island
In the East River of the Big Apple, there is an island, about 3km long and 250m wide. In 1973 it was named in memory of President Roosevelt. Here, however, we are not about to board a ferry, but are rather at "The Little Apple" here on the banks of the Po river.
